About Old Dominion Brewing Co.
Old Dominion Brewing Company (ODBC), the Washington, DC, area's first microbrewery, was established and privately owned in 1989 with a single clear vision -
to make fresh, full-bodied beers of the highest quality. It currently produces 31 beers and three soft drinks.
Nearly all of beers are distributed throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In 1998, Gourmet Food and Wine Magazine named
Old Dominion one of the 20 best breweries in the country. In 2002, SmartMoney Magazine selected it as one the five best breweries in the U.S.
ODBC brews a full range of hand-crafted Lagers, Ales, and Stouts. These include many traditional seasonal specialties like the Octoberfest Lager;
Millennium, a rich, winter-weight, barleywine ale; and refreshing Wheat Beer for summer drinking.
